The “Mobileground India: The Chinese Invasion” article is strange to say the least.
For one, I find it ironic that within an article about China’s innovation, there is a statement which compares the data protection bill to China’s fencing and saying it could impact innovation. It did work out fine for China dint it?
Second, the authors don’t seem to have interacted with the low cost Chinese phones, many of which come pre-installed with at least ShareIt.
Third, there is also no mention of the effect of mobile advertising on the growth. There is constant bombardment of ads for Chinese apps via Android notification bars or within apps too.
