SEBI issue was frivolous. I believe SEBI didn’t tried to understand sector dynamics. When they finally did, the circular had to be quashed. JKIL is a key player in Mumbai’s Infra build-up.
However, I still believe that for a city like Mumbai (including Third Mumbai), it should be One City One Contractor Policy and there is no one else other than L&T to make this a world class city. L1 has brought us more pain than benefits.
