Raining SME IPOs

One reply on “Raining SME IPOs”

What is the point? Most of the SME’s getting listed are very small companies in terms of scale and size of operations. Small companies can be forced to shut up, in absence of strong balance sheets. Management quality is suspect at best.
SME IPOs involve lesser formalities than main board IPOs, and possibly less stringent due diligence. Ticket size is high. Prices appear to be manipulated, after listing. Meant only for HNIs and not for retail investors.
