Everybody is in a mad rush to invest in renewable energy sector because it gives a predictable and certain cash flow and return over the tenure of the PPA, i.e. usually 25 years. The only downside is the rapid technological innovation and changes which will make the newer plants more cost efficient – capex and opex, both and the risk of DISCOMs going back on their promises including delayed payments against the energy lifted/transmitted to their network.
