If you compare in the long term, the difference between actively managed funds and the index returns are very less. This was proved by a study also and hence now we see so many index traded funds where the administration charges are also very less which again helps to reduce the difference of the returns.

I wholeheartedly agree ! Prabhudas Lilladher PMS is pathetic, I was invested with them for a year – observed many a time cash was just kept uninvested in bank, I used to call them and prod them to invest the money.
