That is hardly the ONLY reason why Jim hates India. Read the book properly and you will find several other pertinent reasons.
Its a good reason to hate India .. Women are indeed treated like property in large parts of the country .. Let us acknowledge the reality which is a lot worse that the example Rogers cited
shameful and horrific. We must learn to respect women.
Accepted that India has its challenges. But there is nothing that he did not know before coming.
Next time perhaps Jim Rogers should take her on a walk in downtown NYC after sundown. They would possibly get knifed!
