I think it is a moment of pride and inspiration for all entrepreneurs; but this post reminds me that this generation too carries the “kekada-panti”, i.e. pull thy down if I cannot come up.
Flipkart should’nt get distracted by the valuation per se… if they maintain their growth that will take care of itself. 100b$ in the next 4-5 years seems improbable but if they reach 4x more customers* 2x more value per shipment * 2x more avg shipments per customer per year, it suddenly looks doable….especially when the founders are okay to keep shedding stake at this rate to fund the cash burn in the business
