Mumbai Traffic Police force, if not as MTP but as a group of citizens, take up the BMC head-on regarding encroachments all over Mumbai, we all will be reaching our destinations in double speed, at significantly lower cost, with lesser emission. Our children will get to see what footpaths mean and what an experience it is to go to school on cycles.
Imagine if MTP amends its traffic rules and stop charging fine for visibly unpolluting vehicles just because they don’t carry a shit of paper called PUC. Imagine if they stop ignoring vehicles emitting black smoke but in possession of PUC and start levelling exemplary fines on them; there will be 90% reduction in respiratory ailments in Mumbai and lesser deaths due to respiratory ailments and environmental allergies!
