The Joke is in very bad taste as it says, half of the population in Kolkata (Calcutta) indulges in Prostitution, which is false.
Moreover, Kolkata is the place where there has been no linguistic flare ups like we saw in Assam or Maharashtra. In Tamil Nadu, too, there were lot of sloganeering regarding Hindi.
That Tamil gentleman has no idea about Kolkata, so I pardon him for his mistake.
