“I never sell anything”. This is a unique case, may be a philosophical case where a person does not need any money from his assets and he just keeps on “adding and never selling anything” from his assets.
But in real life, it does not happen like this. Money has got some objective, purpose and that purpose can be fulfilled only with monetizing the money which you have. Just keep on “adding” probably would not serve the purpose.
