Amazon is not too big to fail. In fact, I predict one day Amazon will fail. Amazon will go bankrupt. If you look at large companies, their lifespans tend to be 30-plus years, not a hundred-plus years.
The key to prolonging that demise is for the company to obsess over customers and to avoid looking inward, worrying about itself.
When looking to the types of companies that have made it the longest, they tend to sell a particular type of alcohol.
Most of the companies that are multi-hundred year old companies are breweries.It’s very interesting — I’m not sure what that says about society.

Looks like Jeff Bezos was inside a brewery when he made that comment! He is blinded to a large number of companies in diverse industries that have existed for a 100+ years!!!
And Amazon failing? that’s no rocket science to predict. Anyone who gives sales discounts from investors capital and sells products at lower than cost (justifying it as marketing PR exp) and is not in a monopoly, is destined to doom.
Agree with above comment.Work for a bank which is 160+ old and have seen several institutions which are not breweries and older than 100 years.The cloud saved the Amazon not the fire phone or the online retail store
