Amidst criticism of it’s investment in debt of dubious companies,Franklin Templeton has come out with a Note explaining its rationale for investing in such paper.

Am I missing something? Franklin simply tells readers to refer to the ratings agencies’ comments, which is exactly the problem stated at CapitalMind – that these ratings do not fully reflect the quality of debt!
